So I got this idea of trying to blog about the experiences I have had with this site... I've been doing also something similar with my other blog at http://www.dkaiser.com/blog (you see, I am lazy on thinking good names for my sites), but that should be just about cloud computing and I will try to keep it that way.

I've already told something about this site and why I did create it. I do like to try out new things and see how they work. Well, not too great so far, to be honest, but atleast I have put something together, which appear to work and ultimately allow a user to upload a video in quite a many formats and then convert it to be played in a flash player. Hmm. I got to confess that I've never uploaded a single video to any other video site which gives away my due diligence.

The site has been up for a while now, and yep, there has not been too much traffic, but I really don't mind. All good as I have not put any numbers together what revenue (any?) the site should generate or more importantly, what the site consumes.

I should tell something about the Facebook Connect module as I had it in the subject. I like it. Yep. I logged in FB just before I got here, and just clicked the login link and I was in. Very nice. But, I had some weird thing before I could log in to FB as it was warning me for not being sure if my account was cracked or not. I bet it had something to do with me logging in from work to vkaiser.com using the FB connect. The proxies are run in Germany or similar and now as I suddenly were in Finland again, FB assumed the account to be cracked. It's kind of annoying as the same thing does not happen if I would log to Facebook from work and then from home. Hopefully that will be fixed, though it's not a usual use case anyway.
